MEGAN & JEFF

Megan and Jeff are a cute couple who’ve been long distance for the last little while, with Megan currently finishing up at school in Toronto and Jeff working halfway across the country in Calgary…they are good friends of one of our recent couples, and so when Jeff was catching a plane and coming to Toronto for their wedding and a visit with Megan, they got in touch with us about doing a few photos in their favourite Toronto neighbourhood while they were both in the same city. And we are very happy that they did because we had so much fun meeting and hanging out with them! We met up at one of the gorgeous little cafes in the distillery district (and they wouldn’t let us do photos inside the gorgeous cafe…grumble grumble) but not to worry because it’s not like we weren’t spoiled for choice outside against the old brick buildings covered with vines changing to lovely shades of deep reds and purple. Megan and Jeff were both so excited for their shoot and that in turn made me even more excited and so we were all just a big ball of excitement wandering around, chatting, and letting the wind blow Megan’s lovely red hair. Once school’s finished for Megan she heads west to join Jeff again and the planning for their 2011 Edmonton wedding will start in earnest, with both of them in the same city. No more long distance and I’m so happy that they’ll finally be able to be together! Before we were married, the longest Dave and I spent apart was just one month, so I don’t know how they, or how any of you long distance couples do it! Dave’s done the cross-country roadtrip as a kid, but I’ve never been to Alberta and listening to them describe it made me want to just pack up my bags right then and there!

Megan and Jeff, we are so lucky to have met you and feel honoured that you used some of your precious time together to have us take your photos in a place near and dear to your hearts! We hope the move and the wedding planning goes smoothly for you guys! Also hope you enjoy this little preview of your photos… and PS – I heart physiotherapists. : )
