KIM & TAYLOR

Kim and Taylor are our kind of people – relaxed, organic, and down to earth kind of people. They have a quiet kindness about them, they laugh heartily, and they totally mesh into each others’ arms. We are so fortunate that our work brings to us people that we genuinely grow to adore within the first few minutes of meeting them, and these guys are no exception. In fact, when we met up for the first time with (just) Taylor (as these guys are both currently living in Alberta), we all showed up wearing plaid shirts. THAT’S when you know it’s a perfect match  : )

As these guys were visiting the area to finalize their wedding details, we all met up one very, very misty morning to take their photos and had a lovely time wandering around and getting our shoes and feet quite soaked! I especially loved hearing them tell the story of how they got engaged this past winter after an epic cross country skiing journey… and Taylor handmade Kim’s ring himself out of wood. How amazing and special is that? I think their wedding plans are quite indicative of who these guys are as people, as they are renting out a lodge up north this fall and having their friends and family come and celebrate in a relaxed and comfortable fashion right next to the river……. pretty needless to say that Dave and I are so looking forward to it! I love it when celebrations are true representations of who people are, and when those people are pretty awesome to begin with, you know it’s going to be a great time.
