JENN & MIKE

Jenn and Mike – we liked these two from the moment we met them! Actually, I probably liked Jenn right from her very first email to me about photographing their wedding later this fall, partly because she says things like “bee’s knees”, “adorbs”, “lovely”, “precious” and “snazzy” and that just makes me want to be her best friend. But on a more serious note (although I am serious about that!), these two are just really kind, upbeat, and positive people; very vibrant and full of life, totally the kind of people you want to sit with and chat with all night. Jenn’s distinct and very cute personality vibes off Mike’s laidback and easy going attitude perfectly and together they make a seriously lovely pair. Photographing them was absolutely the bee’s knees and I’ve got a feeling their wedding will be just the same….. snazzy, even  : )

We got together a random assortment of some of their favourite things and tramped through the fields of golden rod that have sprung up over the past few weeks. Thankfully no one had allergies because I just love the cheerfulness they add to any landscape, and it matches with Jenn and Mike’s disposition so well. Had so much fun with these guys. Must also say a big thanks to the lovely yellow flowers you see in the mason jars, provided by Andie of Dandie Andie Floral Designs just for this shoot! Enjoy a few photos of Jenn and Mike!
