MEGHAN & ADAM’S BARN WEDDING

A barn, a field, a summer’s day…. bunting, bridesmaids who spent the entire five minute car ride over to the church squealing in excitement, kids in ties, lots of smiles. Also a healthy dose of tears, of sweetness, of hugs, of dropped rings during the ceremony and amazing amazing dance moves well into the night. Two amazing families, and two amazing people got married. The only way I really know how to share their story is as follows…. : )

Meghan & Adam are two of the sweetest, kindest, most considerate souls you’ll meet — the words sound cliche and overused but that doesn’t make it less true. Every time I looked at them (which is a lot when you’re their photographer!) I felt like they were really just allowing themselves to take in the full range of emotions that accompany such a huge day, which I think is pretty special and something to aspire to. Meghan knew she would not be able to hold in the tears, she knew her hair might not be as perfect at the end of the night in a barn with no a/c and lots of dancing, but she went with it with such gusto that made me want to be her best friend forever. Their family and friends made us feel so welcome, and Adam’s brother even somehow managed to finagle two beers for us from the shut down bar at the end of the night. Best way to end the best day. Meghan & Adam, thank you, thank you. Your celebrations filled our hearts and we’d do it all again in a heartbeat. xo, jenn

Ball’s Falls Big Barn | Niagara, June 2012

athena - Okay. I’m completely and irrevocably obsessed with the first b+w shot of the head table. SO good. This wedding looks like it was filled to bursting with laughter and amazing energy. Love. It.

anda - i LOVE how you took and posted a photo of adam staring right at your lens during the ceremony. whenever someone looks straight at me during the ceremony — i’m like, “uh, hi! haha, should i shoot right now?!” the funny thing is — i bet he doesn’t even remember seeing you at all. which makes me love the photo even more. so let me check — barn wedding, lawn games, conga-line circle style dancing outside at night? yep — LOVE this wedding and your coverage of it. and i know we’ve talked about how a wedding isn’t about the details — but you ROCKED all the detail shots as well. especially love the hanging jars against the night sky. fun dancing shots from this wedding too! whew — longest comment ever.

Rachel - Beautiful pictures Jenn and Dave…I especially like the two where you focussed on the groom behind the bride…he looked so happy and in love :)

Dana - Amazing photos again, you two! Absolutely stunning!
Was the reception at a barn in Niagara? I live near balls falls and am thinking of booking that same place for my wedding :)

cheryl - where are you based out of for photography? and the barn wedding – where is that??

Your photos are incredible.
