Getting back into our groove shooting some lovely weddings and couples photos these past few weeks which feels really really good. Getting ready to do a bit more traveling in the upcoming months and making some plans on our little Roads trip which will…  … we flew to sunny Vancouver ….. photographed our first wedding of 2012 ….. met up with a former client-turned-friend for tasty indian food on Granville island …… launched a new website (!!) …… drank coffee, lots of coffee ….. Jenn stood in lots of blossoms fallen from trees ….. took the train to freezing…  I’m sitting here in our (still feels new) home office (we moved a couple months ago), at our new lovely and large two person desk (finally we both have a spot to work at!), and I just thought I’d write a little something here since it’s been a while. We are still alive, actually feeling… i love it, you know i do :) the first window shot is really gorgeous and dreamy. LOVE this!! it’s sooo true!! ohh this is so true! ps. the photobooth strip is so funny!  Hope you all had an excellent New Year’s, however you chose to celebrate! Just thought I’d take a minute here while I wait for the paint to dry (is that a saying? I mean it literally though, we really are waiting for paint to dry before another coat goes on the walls of our new…  Exciting news — I’m sitting for the first time at my desk in our new place! Up to yesterday the room that would be our office was piled high with boxes, with a small path down the middle, and I suddenly got really antsy to have my desk all set up!! I’ve felt a little… Much love to you guys! I hope Santa spoils you rotten…you deserve it! xoxo So happy that you are getting settled in your new place!!! Happy holidays! athena - I love this video and this part is just sooo…me. Right now. “…they could tell that what they were making wasn’t as good as they wanted it to be, that it fell short. It didn’t have that special thing that we wanted it to have.” But I’m going to be one of the few that get past this point. That push through it. That just keep enveloping myself in my body of work and pushing and working and getting better until I’m on the other side of it. Because I can’t imagine my life without a camera in my hand.
Also: I’m obsessed with the teal Vespa.
