Weddings are by very nature a coming together of two families, but when the two families are French-Canadian and Scottish, it’s a real treat and makes for the most…  … just about the cutest ever. Becky wears her excitement and love of life on her sleeve and on her face, she’s one of those people you want to be around because her joy is contagious, and Phil is the steady rock who loves that about her more than anyone. Can’t wait to see these…  He said, “I realized that I could no longer remember a past without her in it… and I didn’t even want to imagine a future without her there either…” They are travelers and got married under the sun and big fluffy clouds on a knoll overlooking the place that is home to them. Their hands…  I saw it on both their faces at the time, so she didn’t even need to tell me in words. But Alexis emailed me after their honeymoon and told me, after every beautiful and lovely thing that had happened on their wedding day, when their friends created a circle around them as the band played…  A barn, a field, a summer’s day…. bunting, bridesmaids who spent the entire five minute car ride over to the church squealing in excitement, kids in ties, lots of smiles. Also a healthy dose of tears, of sweetness, of hugs, of dropped rings during the ceremony and amazing amazing dance moves well into the night…. |
