we set out on every wedding day like two kids on a treasure hunt — observing and participating and coming to know who our couples are and catching the little things that matter most. we want to show what the day feels like. a huge reason why we love this job so much is getting to know the people we work with.

we’ve been photographing together for over a decade now, all over southern ontario and beyond. we’ve photographed hundreds of weddings, enduring every kind of weather. quiet observers by nature, we photograph to help others stay in the moment — to give them reminders for later of their beautiful ride here on earth with those they love most.

we are documentary in our approach — meaning that we don’t do a lot of posing or interrupting what’s going on. we're less creative directors and more aiming to let the day naturally unfold so that you can remember the day itself instead of remembering being in a photo shoot. we are committed to helping you to remember what's important and what it felt like to be you, living these moments. we purposefully avoid becoming immersed in the latest trends in wedding photography so that we can approach each day we photograph with a clear mind — every day and every person is unique! we want you to be able to really see yourselves and your loved ones in the photos we take!

we document with huge smiles on our faces all day — we’re a part of the crowd & we place a lot of value on getting to know the people we work with and helping everyone feel at ease. we value the story and the people more than making things appear perfect. we will take the photos that will help you remember what it felt like to be there.

we are jenn & dave. he loves sci-fi, black coffee in the morning, and knows every baseball stat. she loves writing, coffee with milk in the morning, and wandering around bookshops. we met at university and have been together ever since. early in our relationship, we lived overseas and could barely pay rent — we immersed ourselves in learning photography on our new-to-us dslr camera, checking out dozens of books from the local library and taking thousands of photographs. wherever we traveled, we realized we didn’t want to simply recreate the picture perfect postcard of that place — we wanted to remember what it felt like to be there. that this passion has bloomed into a business still amazes us.

life is your art. an open, aware heart is your camera. a oneness with your world is your film. your bright eyes, your easy smile is your museum. — ansel adams
