ON A RAINY FALL DAY SUSIE MARRIES GREG
The girls helped Susie load the van with the flowers and overnight bags, we all squeezed in and started the half hour drive out of the town where the wedding would start later that afternoon, to the cottage Susie & Greg had rented for their wedding weekend. This is where the girls would grab a quick lunch, pick up a few things and put on their dresses which were waiting inside the house before driving back for the ceremony. Past beautiful colours up and down a winding road through the trees (a VERY winding road, let me add), they chatted about the day and about memories as the rain continued to come down outside the windows. We finally arrived to the cottage, a beautiful cottage overlooking the sound, a retreat in the middle of nowhere, no cell reception, just quiet, so perfect. We started to unload everything from the cars and everything seemed fine. Until we realized that nobody had the keys to the front door....

Thankfully, after scouring the outside for a hidden extra key (no luck), trying our phones everywhere around the front yard (no luck), we found a door around the back that had been left unlocked -- how this happened, nobody really knows. We literally had no time to drive all the way into town and back before the wedding started. All I know is that it was a day full of magic and a couple just excited to be getting married to each other above all else. A perfect day really. xo, jenn
