d + p’s muskoka fall wedding at the portage inn

i love photographing at the portage inn in huntsville — the first time i was there was ten years ago and it hasn’t changed one bit since and that’s a big part of i love about it. up on a hill, nestled in the trees and overlooking a lake, it’s quiet and unfussy and perfect dotted with fall colours and goldenrod. having just moved out of the country, d + p envisioned their wedding as a kind of homecoming / reunion with everyone they love and that’s just how it felt. pure muskoka bliss. 🍂
