TRISH & DAN'S TORONTO WEDDING | an archeo restaurant toronto wedding

It rained all morning, and pretty much off and on the whole rest of the day. But that didn't matter. They'd seen the forecast in the days leading up to their Saturday, and what did they do instead of worry about it? They splurged on the nicest umbrella they'd ever own and decided if the rain came, they would embrace it :) I love that. Dave and I see a lot of ourselves in these two, and I think that's why documenting this day felt really natural and right for us... a little bit of Trish & Dan's story...Trish's father married them, everyone enjoyed champagne on the patio under threatening skies and you could hear Trish's infectious laugh no matter where you were standing in the room during dinner and speeches. Dan looked at her so sweetly the entire day and the group danced the night away to a live band whilst laughing and drinking good beers. For their honeymoon they drove across the country to set up shop in what is now their new hometown of Vancouver, so the wedding was a bit of a farewell party too -- we're just sad that we can't just call them up and and hang out, although we're definitely visiting next time we're on the west coast! Thanks you guys for inviting us into your lovely, lovely day. xo, jennArcheo Restaurant in the Distillery District | Toronto, August 2012
