a year ago...

we were doing this...the sun was shining & the snow was melting in the mountains of colorado... & we were surrounded by a lot of beautiful people coming together to learn how to love people through documenting their broken, messy & beautiful stories. how to not give up on your dream. it's something i'll never forget.we've been lucky enough to have a few times in our lives now where... how do i explain it... out of seemingly nowhere we've been given a gift that has been exactly what we've needed. it reminds me that whenever i feel an inexplicable pull to do something for someone, even if i don't understand it, to just go for it. it might be exactly what they needed & be really meaningful to them.seriously every time i watch this video i'm reminded of how loved i felt, and it's the feeling that i try to bring to everything dave & i create with the people we photograph.we have a massive amount of thanks & love to the parsons for inviting us to be there at their workshop & for making this video for us.. i love it so much.jenn and dave don't give up from WE ARE THE PARSONS on Vimeo.
