season & jon / an outdoor summer wedding at dyment's farm
we photographed this lovely day with huge smiles on our faces from the moment we arrived, through the dance party in the car ride to the farm, the hand-written vows, and as the light began to fade and the summer heat dissipated into a cool clear evening. season & jon knew they wanted something casual where everyone could feel relaxed and enjoy themselves. they searched high and low before finally finding the perfect spot in dyment's farm in dundas. it overlooks the town below through a clearing in the trees where the ceremony takes place, and the open air courtyard back at the main building is the perfect spot to mingle and catch up with friends or lounge on the muskoka chairs. it was a down-to-earth and out of the way spot, a perfect place to enjoy a summer's day with everyone you love.some further awesome highlights imprinted in our memories included but not limited to :an impromptu iced capp & take out pizza party.tractor-pulled wagon rides & views over the small town below.cuddling under blankets and roasting s'mores over outdoor fire pits as the sun disappeared.we couldn't be happier to share these memories & more from season & jon's wedding day below. thanks so much s&j for living your day with such grace, laughter & emotion and having us there to document it all as it unfolded.

allison + matthew / a lovely fields on west lake barn wedding
we'll drive for miles maybe we'll never turn off, we'll find a cathedral city, you can be handsome, i'll be pretty / camera obscura
we joined two of the kindest people you'll ever meet & their families at the big red barn at fields on west lake as they stood together & said i do. the wind flew around us, the blackbirds sang, and the buds were coming in on the trees.allison is a journalist, documentarian, & storyteller, who does things like getting stranded on navy ship off the coast of yemen for a story. matthew is in public relations, and in allison's words, 'nicest guy on the planet is probably the best way to describe matthew' and it's true. they live in alberta, and took a roadtrip to get to the wedding (roadtripoflove4ever2014 i believe was the official title). they are wonderful souls & i wish you all could just meet them because words won't do justice. their wedding day was a combination of all things good & it was over too fast, as the best days always are.every time I propose some crazy adventure (like having babies, selling all our belongings and travelling around the world for a year), he says: let's do it / allison. i love this. our kind of people.we hope you enjoy the story of their day. here's a little stop-motion video of the day below, and see more photos after the jump!
